save character data button?

How about putting in some kind of menu option to save our character data, i cant count the number of times i have worked on an attatchment only to be crashed out of the regoin and have to log back in to find all my work has been undone. and now it seems that it also happens if i log out too soon or something. Would love for someway to avoid have to constantly be repositioning my attatchments.
