I'd love to make a series of 'drag and drop' wardrobes from my stuff but in some cases this may mean duplicating a favourite top (or something) which is often forbidden by the vendors. But how about being able to create a "shortcut" or link inside our inventory to an item elswhere in the inventory? That way, you can use it in more than one wardrobe, but there's still only one item - no duplication. Shortcuts can also be used for Objects, AOs, hair/skin, etc. And I thing there are bandwidth usage benefits too. Users still won't be able to copy or resell and once the original's gone, the shortcuts or links won't work any more.

This will assist in reducing the size of inventories - there are a number of items, such as AO's, shapes, skins, hair and clothing items which are used for several different outfits. Currently people create copies and have numerous copies of the same item in folders. This not only increases the volume of the inventory, but separates items from useful information, such as 'how-to' cards and landmarks etc. If we could create 'shortcuts' to items, then the original item could stay in the manufacturers box, and the bandwidth used to download several copies of the same item would be reduced as only the small 'pointer' would need to be downloaded.
Inventory can be frustrating to use sometimes, and this might help quite a bit

I recommend putting your votes on 1165, it's the oldest and has the most existing votes.

There are currently 319 votes applied between these five proposals. This is 6 votes fewer than the last time I checked. That's going the wrong way, people.

Hi Argent and everyone - I have put my votes on 1165 as suggested - the search feature sucks as I had searched prior to posting and could not find ONE of them! THanks for pointing us in the right direction
