Why are the amount of groups we can belong to restricted?

I know from speaking with other people that some groups space is taken up by family groups, I personally have 3 of those, the there is the club I hostess for that takes 3 more, doesn't leave many for the clubs I enjoy going to for events and such, where you have to be in the group to enter the contest and or vote. I just think it would make more sense to let us join as many groups as we want.

Why would you have to be a member of a group to vote or enter a contest?

I believe it is because group chats severely lag linden servers.

I mean they do lag for anyone involved, that's true. The big ones mainly.

That's an easy one. To eliminate the vote-and-run friends people teleport in. I've seen it a lot. Somebody has a best in whatever contest, people spend the whole two hours of the event dancing and participating, only to have one person teleport in two minutes before voting opens, and enter. Then when voting opens, they start teleporting in their friends. Their friend votes then leaves so there's room for more friends to arrive. Voting ends and this party crasher wins by a landslide.

been stated before that the 25 group limit already puts there asset servers under a considerable load and adding more at this time would not be viable for them to do. I remember when it was 15 groups. but maybe and I say maybe in a couple years they will be flexable enough to allow us to join as many as we want.
