I think there needs to be a confirmation dialog when you unlink a physical group. Currently all children go to physical, even if they weren't physical before linking, and the parts fall out of place as they are unselected. To fix this, the confirmation dialog should have three otpions: Convert to Static, Keep Physical, or Cancel.

oooo...yeah, I know how things can fall apart if they're physical, hehehe. It's funny if the object's not important, but if it is, it's like having the object deleted.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Worst thing ever... unlinking a 30 prim object thats physical, "Doh!".
I support this idea/feature.

I still remember vividly the remains of Squeedoo's poor puppy dog being strewn all across the welcome area when she somehow managed to cause it to unlink.
It was a very sad and gruesome scene...

But it's so much more entertaining when there's no confirmation. From: someone I still remember vividly the remains of Squeedoo's poor puppy dog being strewn all across the welcome area... I'm almost ashamed to admit this made my day. Almost.

Yeah, I also share a very mixed combination of both humor and grief about the situation =P
I just hope she got a free replacement =)
