Simple request. Be able to use /me or /em to make a string seem as if your character is producing an action.

Instead of,
Datura Fairchild says, "I'm jumping aimlessly!"

it'd be

Datura Fairchild jumps aimlessly.

It'd be helpful if we want to roleplay or do plays or whatever and real simple to do.

I like this idea immensely, im commonly doing this:

Christopher Omega: ::is happy::

Christopher Omega: ::does TouchDown dance::

to convey non-animated action, something to make it more realistic would be quite cool.

-Chris (Im not gonna say it :p )

Like I said in game, I'm with you on this one Datura. Either having:

/em jumps up and down

or

:nods and smiles

....would be great. Both would be ultimate. ^.~

This is a somewhat silly quibble, I know, but:

This isn't IRC, instead of just telling people that you are jumping aimlessly, why not jump aimlessly? &cetra

P.S. This _is_ an nodding and smiling animation already, I think it's "yes_happy" which you could bind to ":nods and smiles" if you wanted, so, you know...

I would also like to express my support for this idea. If its not covered in an animation you should be able to express it somehow. I use asterisks.

Skippy Power: *runs away screaming*

Errr.. well something like that anyway. I just think its a good idea!!

Ok WG, as soon as there are animations for every single emote that anyone could ever possibly want to convey in the game...

Last I checked, there wasn't one for:

*smacks you upside the head with a rubber spatula*

or

*laughs so hard she falls out of her chair and rolls around on the floor gathering dust bunnies*

or

*plops down on the floor and gazes up at you adoringly*

etc etc etc =)

No, it's not IRC. That doesn't mean we can't want some IRC'ish features, does it?

I second..er third.. er X'th this suggestion.

I am one of the last to want to make this a graphical IRC lol But I like this idea.

It would be a nice feature in Lyn's plays at her Theatre.
