When making jewelry and head attachments it can be a bit diffcult to line them up because our avs constantly wiggle. If we could freeze our avs so that they don't move at all it would be easier to position more complicated facial jewelry. I dont really have a suggestion as to how to pull this off. But Im sure the designing community would appriciate it.

I agree, and since *sometimes* this does happen when the said jewelery/wig is attatched, we know its possible to have a frozen avatar... so why not have it a toggleable option ..or even an updated "turn_180" anim that freezes the AV completely head to toe?

animation turn_180
it locks yer av in the specific pose thats used when you actually edit the avatar appearance and is useful for all manner of attachment and clothing work

if youre trying to make an elaborate earing that is made of a bunch of tiny links in a chain the minute ammount your av's head moves can really be a pain. Our avs are never still

Yes, even with turn_180 your avatar is not completely still. I've run into this working on some glasses frames before.
It's a minute shift back and forth, but noticable for fine detail work.

This gets asked for about three times a week in this forum. Hello, Lindens? The capability is there since editting an attachment freezes you. Why can't we get this when we edit unattached objects too?
Even a new animation that does nothing. We type "anim null" or whatever and there we are. Perfect.

I support this idea/feature. Would be very very handy. Also if we had the ability to do cuts and hollows and such while a prim is attached.
