Multiple textures on the same object face

In the interest of keeping prim counts down, please add the ability to apply more than one texture the same face of an object, with separate repeat and offset controls. This would make it much easier to create frames around images, to apply watermarks to things, and other things that require using two prims for the effect. Even if you just add the ability to apply two textures to the same face, it would help.

I second this. Not only will it add the ability to eiasily, inexpensively add decals to an object, it will add the ability to display text in textures alot eiasier.

Oooh good thinking Chris, I would then be able to make a 6 character 1 prim display. Although 3 textures to a side would be even better - then I can fit my name on 1 prim. :D

Cris, I simply add a frame layer to a pic before bringing it into game if I want one, same with a watermark or layers I want to blend. This seems like an extra feature that's not really necessary if you can use a graphics editing program like PS or PSP (and I know you can :D ).

Not if you want a tiled brick wall with a bloodstain the the lower corner... (Not that I want to make that!:))

But yes, some ability to add a number of decals to a prim face would be a very nice, but non-trivial addition to Second Life.
