The ability to take screen captures of your SL screen in-game is great. It's like having a scrapbook on your hard drive of all your adventures in SL.
However, from a social aspect, sometimes (especially around people you've just met in SL), it just seems kind of rude (and awkward) to force them to put up with the constant snaps of your "camera noise" that gets played whenever you take a picture.
Could there be a option added to SL's Preferences, that disables the shutter-sound that is made whenever you take a screen shot? I love to blog about, and take pictures of my SL adventures, but I just feel like I'm possibly being rude to other people, if they can indeed hear me snapping a photo every other minute.
thanks for your consideration!

thanks for your consideration! I think there is a way to turn it off in the Debug menu, I'm not positive, though.

If it annoys them, they always have the option of turning down sound effects..
