What I really want, more than the scripting call at the moment is something like llForceSit (<0,0,0> TRUE); that would force AV's to sit on object, especially vehicles, as the designer intended. Placed inside linked objects on the "seat" prim(s), any character attempting to sit on the object would instantly be seated on the nearest one. If all the seats the designer has placed are taken, the TRUE/FALSE would determin wether or not additional characters could then begin using other prims on the object.

No more flying back and forth in a pathfinding spasm
No more multipule tries to sit down only to be told you can not sit here.
No more unwanted people hanging off odd corners of prims
No more sitting side saddle on things 'cause the AV just wont line up.

Please Lindens, make it so!

PS, if it included the option to lock the camera down on non-mouselook AV's it would also be a blessing for those of us riding things we're passing controls on to.

Hehe damned if I was gonna sit side saddle :p I tried making a vehicle with a working control board, and I had to make the control board swing open and closed to let the AV have room to sit down.

Seems like a good idea to mark something as a seat to help optimize the pathing
