Ok, i think that is would be cool if instead of im, we were given cell phones in sl that would be able to "call" avatars, and you could have a gps (where your calling card friends are) and a voice mail (where people could leave text messages, no voice)
also, it would be cool if they would revamp the groups so that there would be more "levels" i guess
Cell phones have been done already, as already mentioned I believe. I don't see the benefits over IM, though, and it's a pay-for service I believe. You can also find any
Calling Card on the map via going to the person's profile and pressing "Map." Voice mail has also been done I believe, using Email commands.
Group "levels" could feasibly be done by stringing together several groups, but yeah - a more diverse social strata in them would be a plus.

also, how about instead of forever sky, there would be space outside of the atmosphere? you advertized space and space stations on the site, how about making that a reality?
It
is a reality, and depends only on how long you want to work to make that happen. Space stations have been done as well.

it would be cool if there was a sander for making things. we would be able to cut down on prims and would be able to make rounded corners (take ipods for example) it would be cool if we had more tools like in wood shop.
That could be done, but the problem is not the ability to do so... it's the fact that data becomes harder to then send to the clients. If you're looking for some more advanced tools, though, you can check out my comments on subdivision algorithms and a 3D model importer on this forum (too lazy to go linking them).

weather would be nice, but i understand the lag issue.
Again, doable with LSL, but depends on how long you want to work at it.

the hair cuztomisation (sp?) is really hard to do. i either have really long hair or i have bald spots. mabey thats just me though.
Try prim hair! Just be advised that overdoing it makes other people mad, because it takes that much longer to load.
