Other MMO's have this, so you don't have to use the arrow keys. If it's not a feature it should be because until I can figure out how to do this I am not gonna be playing... wayyy too annoying.

Some way to do what you want to do would be great. It could be exactly what you described or some other way to enable 3D movement control with just the mouse.
Until some way to do this comes along, you might find use for the on screen movement controls, which somewhat allow you to fly, walk or run by using the mouse.
Problem is, it puts the movement controls on the screen, and you can't fly up and down, just steer horizontally while going forward.
