I would like to see the ability to reduce your view distance I have lag glore after a few minutes of playing and i have found such a thing can be very helpful often more so then changing the graphic lvl. Anarchy Online has this and i it was far more useful at reducing lag then changing the graphics display lvl.

Have you tried checking the "custom" tick box in the graphics preferences tab? It opens up a bunch of sliders, one of which is draw distance. I think that does what you want.
