Brief question from a newbie...

Ok, Ok... I'm BRAND new (all of one day old) in SL, but I have one thing that is bothering me...

For five years now, I've remapped the controls in every 3d game I've gone into to the same sequence. <space> for forward, <a> for back, <s> and <f> for left and right, and <e> and <d> for up and down. If you try it you'll see that this puts your hand in a very natural "home" position, and allows for very easy control of your avatar.

Problem? I searched for 30 minutes last night to find a way to remap the controls, but wasn't able to.

Am I missing it, or is this something that can be done with scripting?

Or, can it be done at all? It would REALLY help me be comfortable in this new world if I could use the same control scheme I've been using for years now.

Edit your keys.ini. You can find it in C:\Program Files\Second Life\app_settings. Space key cannot be used though :(
