It's probably been asked before, but what about an option to just quit to the login screen instead of it closing out the program completely? I think it'd be quite useful.

It has, and the response I've heard is that the logoff process is very involved and would be difficult to do while keeping the client running. Seeing how the client manages memory, I'm more than willing to believe it. (>_<
