I would like to see an object, as in a collection of linked prims, have the abilility to permanantly lock and turn all the prims that make it up into one prim. For instance if you had a two block prims linked together and you permantly locked it..it would become one rectangular prim..

Is this in any way possible?

A friend of mine in Second Life was talking to me about such a program a few days ago. I can't remember what it's called and haven't tried it personally yet but he said it does exactly what you said above.

This sounds like yet another request for CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry) to me. It's not available in Second Life.

Are you reading this, Linden Lab? :D

They've previously stated that CSG is something that they would like to implement but are currently unable to do so as well as needing to resolve issues where the mesh formed is difficult to render (say two spheres of equal size that are offset by 0.001 and then one subtracted from the other).
