I dont really see a point to that feature besides being an annoyance. Sometimes when you just want to go off and do something by yourself or you want to be alone with someone and your not where you usually are, people find you. I know you can just tell them to go away but it doesnt work that way all the time, it would be easier I would think if they just couldnt find you in the first place. If someone wants to know they can ask, dont have to come track you down. I know theres not much privacy in this game without buying your own sim. I know you can go 700 meters up but if you got someone that wants to find you and they got you locked and there right where the map shows you are there gonna go up or down to find you. So please get rid of this stupid feature.

Why not get rid of the calling cards and then they can't map you?

Yep, just delete all your cards. They wont be able to find you and you wont be able to find them.

Well alot of the times its my friends and I know deleting there card would cause me to get an IM then telling them i deleted it to be left alone would want them to see what im really doing. I just think it would be eaiser to get rid of the feature. Can anyone actaully tell me the point of it?

Rather than removing a feature that some find useful, why not implement invisible mode -- we're online, in-world, visisble to those in our vicinity, we even show up on the map... but we're not listed in "Online Users", nor is there any indication that we're online by looking at our calling card.
Simple. Useful.
