Often while I'm editing a bunch of prims, I'll go to click my left mouse button to select another prim, but in doing so I sometimes slightly move my mouse.
What winds up happening is the object gets moved slightly in some direction.
To prevent this, I find I always have to hit ctrl-z after each item I select to make sure I didn't move it while in the process of selecting it.
Is there some way we could make it so while in edit mode, we can have the option to not move the object while within the same click event as selecting the object?
Note I would ask this to be an option, not to change the existing behavior.

I desperatly agree to this as well, has happened to me many a times, same thing with rotating and accidently clicking in the middle an... well thats a whole nother story, but yeah the accidently moving is highly anoying.
Once I'm done with building something I usualy Lock it just so I don't accidently move it with the clicking, if there could be some way to do this too for editing... not sure how though.

I have this problem too. When the Undo wasn't working right, it was SOOO frustrating. But it's annoying even with everything is working normally. (Not I did not say "right" ) There's an easy fix: If the SHIFT is down, disable moving objects. (Except when dragging the arrows for duplicating.) This way, you can safely select several objects without moving them accidently. On the same note, don't let objects that have touch scripts be dragable by their owner outside of Edit mode. There's NO reason for that.
