So how about Linden Labs joins the rest of the 21st Century and sets up their credit system to process credits on the day they're made?

Whats really starting to get on my nerves about this is over the last year and a half processed credits have taken longer and longer to actually get processed. Since around June of last year almost every bi-monthly payment I've processed out of the system after paying my expenses and tier in world has taken 5 or MORE business days to actually be processed to my Paypal account.

But why is this? If its simply the system LL is using they're quite welcome to go directly to my website and use the Paypal form on it and pay me there because it would happen instantly just like everyone else that uses it.

Overall the 0-5 business day processing time for Paypal payments is absolutely assinine. It is not a delay on Paypal's receipt of the payment its a delay on Linden Labs side because they're manually processing these payments out of the system.

Everything else about the damn Lindex is automated....how come I have to wait a week to a week and a half for the part of the money thats mine?

Update your credit system LL. Cause it should not take 5 business days , or more, as is often been the case lately, to send money ELECTRONICALLY....I might as well ask for a hard check with that kind of wait.

I think its either an attempt to limit cash outs and encourage you to spend your money in world. I think they figure if it is difficult to get money out, you will merely invest it in SL, probably land, a new business venture, etc.

It could also be a security measure to prevent fraud. If a stolen credit card or paypal account is being used, they can resolve issues with the credit card company, and help in your prosecution. If someone logs into your account and cashes out your lindens, a 5 day wait can give you time to stop the process before someone else walks off with your money.

These are my guesses.
