There are currently three stable poses, sitting, bike-riding, and surfing. We really need some more I think. Here are some suggestions, to help make vehicles much better. Car-driving, with hands on a steering wheel and feet on pedals. Plane flying, with feet normal and hands occasionally reaching foreward to touch a control. Computer Control, sitting down and typing on a computer, looking foreward. Standing computer, same as before, but good for star-trek type console walls. Swimming, holding something in front and kicking your legs would let us make some neat underwater vehicles. Magic Control, make the Yoga Pose into a sitting pose, then we can ride our flying carpets and UFOs in style!

It's a Good Thing.

And I want to open up all the other poses for use while sitting. Some work, some don't. Also, does the floating yoga animation HAVE to be so short? I was making a vehicle that would have looked GREAT with the rider in lotus. I tried to use sit_ground instead, but that's one that doesn't work when sitting. :(

Wouldnt all of this be solved, but also many many other issues, if they added the ability to design one's own animations?

Relee: I totally agree.

Tiger: Sit_ground will work. I use it to sit on top of my flying Olmec head. Try this:
CODE
llStopAnimation("sit");
llStartAnimation("sit_ground");

Put that in the part of your vehicle script that takes controls and you should have no problem. That method can be used to do any animation when you operate a vehicle, but of course it works best with 'stable" animations and not periodic animations like waving or the yoga pose.

Mezzanine: They will, we just don't know when yet.

Duh! *slaps forehead*

Of course... Stop sit first! Thank you Julian. :)
