Permissions Dialog MUST show Owner Name

Trouble.

Right now, griefers are going around the world with a script that has a sensor that sends permission requests to everyone it can find.

These permission request dialogs are very annoying, and there's no way to tell who they're coming from.

Permission request dialogs MUST be changed to show WHO owns the object which is causing the permission request to be made.

As it is now, there is no way to trace who the troublemaker is, and therefore the whole system is broken because I can't tell who to neg rate or report.

Also, I have high doubts that the MUTE system will work on preventing these dialogs from popping up.

Something needs to be done about this. This is more serious than the average Feature Request because it has the capacity to ANNOY without pointing out who's responsible for it.

Thanks for reading.

Incidentally, while we're here, whatever happened to those "Report Abuse?" dialogs that used to show up when someone bumped you?

The other day, some WWIIOLER or however you spell it came up to me, and bumped me with a push gun.

By the time I got my bearings, they were gone. It'd be nice to get their name.

What needs to be listed in a "This object would like to animate your avatar" message:

Name of object. "This object" is not helpful.
Position of object. Either relative to the av, or global. (I'd really like relative, myself.)
Owner of object.
Animation name being attempted.

(Object name) owned by (owner name) would like to edit your animations, do you accept?

Or something simular.

Anything, I endorse this idea/feature!

I logged in for 5 minutes to send a message, and got another one of these.

Something has to be done.

It should be under the help menu. "PVP Abuse", IIRC.

Thats right. They only pop up the first time for each type (physical object hitting you, pushobject, etc.), then they're just silently stored in Help -> View PvP abuse, where you can view who abused your AV and report them directly.

I think that anything you can do which causes something to popup on someone else's screen should be identifyable as to who was the source of the problem.

Instant Messages from objects can do the same thing.

Hmm. I hope this request doesn't go ignored until some griefer decides to make every day April 1st and spam people with popups anonymously.

IMs too should have a sim location as part of their text, or at least accessible somewhere else.

Nothing to stop a griefer from making an object that they give to newbies that fires dozens of tiny, invisible bullets in all directions and across sims, and each one constantly IMs it's owner. Such a victim would be inundated with IMs and no way to find the objects.
