I bring forth yet another thing that could maybe improve things a bit for folks in SL. In the days of 1.2+ now we have to be more prim wise and concious.
Now I know features were added to "return objects" but you left out some important things with the features, Lindens.. like which are non-group items, how many are more than one persons, and how many per that person.
Example, I have group owned land. 100 prims total out of however many max. 50 are group owned, 50 are not. I have no way of telling if those are all MY 50 or someone elses. And if I try to return them, they return them ALL. Please change this feature so we can tell who has what on the land, how many prims from said person, and the ability to send just THOSE from said person back instead of all the prims.
Thanks for reading.

I endorse this product and/or service.
No, seriously folks, this is a big point. I look at the object display in Kaz land and think "Am I being efficient? Am I taking more than my share?". It's not easy to budget, and I think it would be at least very useful parcel information to see, and even more useful information to be able to act on in the "Return objects" sense.

Absolutely! I'm stuck with other peoples objects on my land till I know who the hell owns them and where they even are! Yes, I know some of them, because I allowed people to put them there. But it'd sure be nice to be able to get a quick rundown of people who have stuff on my land so I can return them by owner. I tried making a scanner that listed objects owned by other people that were over my land and retuned their positions etc, but I suck. So I'm all for getting the Lindens to do the work...

Been thinking and have and additional comment/suggestion towards this.
If memory serves correct, there is a limited time option that can be set on land so that it checks every said number of time and returns objects.
My thoughts are this, maybe make a option for return objects like you have with the ban/group/accept option of letting people on your land. I mean have it that if your name isn't in the names/group list put on that plot and the return objects is active, it would automatically return those not allowed on the land/list, to the owner.
Any of this making sense? I feel I am confusing even myself trying to get the idea put to words.

I vote for addition of llReturnObject(key id)
Then you could easily return objects by owner using a fairly simple sensor script...

If you have a limited number of people building on your land who all share the same group you're in you can set your land to the group, and they can set their objects to the group. You don't have to deed apparently, but the matching group settings will take them out of "owned by others" and into "owned by group". Of course if no one has groups in common, or you need multiple groups worth, it gets tough..

Then you could easily return objects by owner using a fairly simple sensor script... Not really. All the mentions of sensors being able to solve this problem in this post has been quite disturbing to me, since I know the limit of a sensor to be only the 16 objects closest to it. For it to scan every single object, it would need to set position to every single cubic centimeter of your land (inlcuding the area 768 meters up), and run a sensor. Not only is this process long, but is impossible to monitor or filter, as a list filtering system would quickly fail with a stack-heap. Without some searchable dynamic storage, you cant filter by anything, and will get TONS of repeats. I am all for this feature, I was amazed that the unintuitive button was implimented in the first place, and not this. I thought I remember that LL would impliment a selective-build-only mode for land, with a list of people that the land owner can specify, that are allowed to build on the land. Also, selective-cleanup had been mentioned in the past (pre-v1.2, I think) and responded to that it would be implimented by a linden. Wheres it at then? :annoyed: ==Chris

One thing that is troublesome with the current system is that objects left by group members only show up that way if they were set to have the same group.
I don't know how complicated it needs to get, but I would very much like to be able to generate a report in a sim showing how many objects are placed there by what person. A parcel-by-parcel version might be nice, but what makes the situation complicated in my case (and Hawk's) is that we are in a group that owns 80% of a sim, split among a couple dozen different parcels, and having over 40 members, each of whom might or might not remember to set their builds to indicate group.
This becomes a more important matter then, because one of the things that griefers did in the past couple weeks was simply to drop a bunch of invisible prims around certain people's lands. If we had a chart of who owns how many prims, it would be much easier to spot a problem.

I endorse this feature/idea.
I also would like the "Auto Return Prims To Everyone Except: " list.
