I'm sorry If this has been mentioned before, but there is a slightly annoying problem for textures...

For a cube, turned into a wall or something, I often can't get the textures to wrap as well as I'd like them to,. Also, if I have a door, so I have to make a wall on either side, and lets say the wall has a door jamb or column or some kind of edge that is placed on either side of the door, I have to make a totally new-opposite texture on the other side, rather than using the same texture and just adjusting the location of the area showing on either side of the wall.

Well, it would make it just a little easier to fine tune, than have to trial and error with making new textures and not having them sinc up right all the time.

Oh, and also, I was wondering if you could give a credit if we delete our textures, the ones we've uploaded (and turned out to stink, LOL) It gets expensive to do so much trial and error... Thanks, Ingie

If you click on select texture and then the side of the primary you want to adjust you can fully adjust/offest/UV that side only.

Now here's the part that'll bake your noodle...

Make an object and hollow part of it out a bit. Select the "hollow side" texture (say, the inside of a hollow cylinder.)

The texture you select for that "inner" side will be mirrored.

I found this out just now while working on an inscription for the inside of a dome.
