This is a minor request, and probably not in high demand, but I think it would be a big help and easy to change.
I have been writing a lot of notecards lately and I frequently need to chat to a group while I am working on them. The problem arises when I minimize the notecard. The minimized notecard lays firmly over the group chat text. Its a lose lose situation. I need to minimize a card so I can chat but I cant see the chat because the card is minimized.
Moving the minimized card up and to the left slightly would be a great help.

uhm, can't you just move the group chat text, or use the chat history instead?

Well, you can, but thats another chatbox blocking the view of the screen. I would rather look at the people and the landscape whenever possible, not chatboxes. Everyone just says to use chat history, and I do at times, but I would rather use the chat text at the bottom of the screen.

I always have the chat history up. But for me it's located at the very bottom left. So when I minimize a window, it ends up stuck under the chat history. I guess I could move the chat history window but it would be nice if minimized windows have an option of 'Always on Top'...

Actually, just make it possible to move minimized windows around the screen. I think the current behavior was sort of in lieu of the Windows toolbar. Which is nice and all, but we don't have a toolbar in SL, which defeats the purpose. And as others have commented, it covers up chat text. :/

You can shrink the chat history or IM window down so its just two or three lines- really doesnt take up that much room.
Personally I think theres really just more important features than this one.

This post was originally about minimized notecards. And, yes, this is a relatively unimportant thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is more than likely an easy fix.
