I have seen how there are ratings for building, behavior, appearance... Some people rate specifically for stuff others build and other people who may not be great with building or their appearance are great scripters. Give the scripters the credit they deserve and make a scripting rating

I just use the Building rating for that since there isn't a Scripting rating.

I prefer straight monetary tributes to my scripting genious but whatever works.

hehehe. j/k. I hardly ever (read: I don't remember ever doing it) accept money for scripting help lol.

I dunno about that. I really suck at building. I have friends who design what it looks like, then I do all the scripts, linking, joining etc. The only reason my place looks cool at all is thanks to a friend. The reason my friends have working doors, elevators, message boxes, flying objects is me.

It's people like Goodwill I am working to get this for. Knowing some newbies, if they see an object you built that the newbie feels is not creative but has an awesome script, the newbie will rate you based on the object, not the script. It doesn't have to be for the money either. Some people like to compare themselves to other builders or nice people in SL. For those who have no reason for this, what is wrong with comparing yourselves to others in SL?
