I think the camera man needs a smack (or far less coffee) but it's otherwise pretty neat..
Capturing what's on your desktop isn't very new - see webex and such. From there, I think you piple that to some web server and, back in SL, put the url into the parcel media setting. Haven't seen it done before, though. Cool stuff. _____________________

The camera work is horrendous.
Anyway...I think you guys are being bamboozled. A clever slide-of-hand. Notice how the camera leaves the screen both times he 'makes the switch.' He could pause the camera when it's in black, upload a screenshot of the desktop, place it on the wall in Second Life, ADR some audio straight through after, and BOOM...fooled. You think? You never know, I've seen a lot of things like this... _____________________

Na, it's real time. He's got two pcs.
One with SL and a media prim. One running wirecast (http://varasoftware.com/products/wirecast/whatsnew.html) running desktop presenter. The "black" is his bad camera work moving between the two... EDIT: Btw, it's one-way. The media prim can't send data back to the 'presenter'. It's broadcast only. _____________________

What am I missing here? is there something else special going on I am not seeing - I regularly stream myself digitally painting on my laptop - onto a prim on my land so people can watch. All thanks to webcam max and veodia. Awesomeness
