Hi, I've just finished making a bvh conversion tool that can be used to convert some bvh files to a format compatible with SL. I've called it bvhacker. I've made it available for free here: http://www.davedubuk.btinternet.co.uk/bvhacker was written for and tested with the bvh files available from bvhfiles.com. I've started a new thread: /52/41/152115/1.html. If anyone has any comments, questions or suggestions, please post there. enjoy!

How does this work? Does it remove the face/hand/genital movements automatically? Sounds very cool!
Regards,

Flip - apologies for the delay(!) responding - I forgot I'd posted here!
It doesn't automatically remove genital movements, but you can manualy remove the joints by just deleting them.
Hand and face movements are not recorded in bvh files - they are added to an SL animation later - usually when the fie is uploaded.
Anyways, version 1.1 is up on the website now, and rumour has it that Animazoo may be releasing some fresh animations very soon...
