Second Sights is a place for me to share my love of Second Life sightseeing. It is dedicated to showing off the best places in SL: anything beautiful, fantastic, extraordinary, creative, interesting, thought-provoking, fun, or all of the above.

And just for fun, I'll throw in a few of the ugliest places too. Considering they make up the bulk of Second Life, it's only fair. :p

I've only done two places so far, Serenity (the spaceship) and the ANWR oil platform. I usually do fairly thorough tours of 15-30 pictures, picking out interesting details and occasionally viewing things from unusual angles.

These are fairly time intensive, so I will probably only do 1-3 tours a month. If you are interested, there is an RSS link in the menu so you can subscribe to the feed. :)

Okay, last web site announcement for now! I do have two more in the works (for another alt and a public-use property), but I don't expect those to be ready for another month or two.

Hi, if you would like to join the Mainland Hiking Group we would love your input on good places to explore, just starting out but the more the merrier and share locations and guides.

Sorry, I'm no authority... just hear about nice places here on the forums, and check them out when I have an evening or two to blow.

I wish I could do SL hiking sometimes, but I'm on a VERY slow computer that takes forever to rez stuff. If I walk more than a sim at a time, I have to wait for about 3-5 minutes while everything shows up. Well, actually I could keep going, but I develop a tendency to walk into walls that I can't see! :p
