not directly connected to SL but this thread is due to the fact i'm tired of all these "free linden" places and parcels with 50 camp chairs.
as some of you may know the "free linden" places revolve around you doing a survey, test, trial, etc and you get anywhere from 50 to 5000 linden for it, half of which of course dont work. recently on another forum i visit, there was a thread about money making and the site " http://www.cashcrate.com/250544 " came around. it too is a make-money-by-completing-surveys site except its more reliable than some of the other sites around, which could be simply because it has better servers to process the constant connections and survey updates. either way, if you're a new resident or a vet just looking for the few extra $ to upload your stuff, i'd sugest checking it out. if you look on their forums you can see photos of the checks people have got, some upwards of 500usd. personaly in the last two days of playing with this i've made 30usd, just by doing the surveys and stuff (which of course they say to use real info, but you dont need to, i didn't). so check it out if you want some quick easy money: http://www.cashcrate.com/250544

what a twisted spammy message..lol.

But I have to agree with some of it, i had a friend join SL yesterday, on getting to the mainland she realised she needed money...She couldnt find much info on how to make cash when she returned to orientation island.

So she hit 'search' and put 'money' into the search - she chose 'newcomer friendly' on the category menu. All she came across were sims which wanted her to do surveys...It totally put her off from wanting to use the game....

Perhaps a more concentrated effort should be put towards sending newbies to places like NCI where there's a newbie stipend or the money tree zones. If newbies think camping and surveys are the only way to make money it's only going to encourage people to set up places offering that kind of service.

There's no need for any of that survey stuff to get you started with the game.

in most cases with these survey sites yeah, as i said though this one seems to be legit. and how quick and easy they are depends on how fast you can BS a name/phonenumber/address/etc.

if you're too lazy to BS some surveys, yes

on a side note, for the affiliate comment, no shit? anyone with common sence of how these sites work knows that, hell if they dont they can tell by the link anyways, did i try to hide it? no, i just gave a link that benefits both me and those that visit the site and either do the stuff or check the forum links. so rather than everyone whining about it, how about you actualy do a google check or go to the site, proof is in the sites forum. http://www.cashcrate.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22

definition of spam: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/spam

considering i've been a part of secondlife longer than most of the people in this thread PUT TOGETHER, its hardly considered spam. also if you actualy looked into it you're allowed to make posts on communities you belong to, simply talking about cashcrate, infact you're encouraged to. and you see, thats exactly what i've done. i've been a part of SL for over 3 years, i simply posted a thread notifying people of a good casual money maker, for those not interested in buying land, lowering themselves to being a escort, or owning a casino. so you see, you all chose to come in here and whine needlessly, like imature little brats living in your parents basement. please, go back to your furry porn and big boobed escorts, while i continue to create high-detail products on sl (as i have for THREE years) and inform people of ways to make casual money. dont like it? cry more, i'm done with you kids.

actualy, ya know what? one more whiney post and i'll report it to LL, hell i might yet even. call my OP spam, call it affiliate, call it whatever, but do it else where. obviously i'm not some bot, you still make the same amount of money wether you follow my link or a google link. and if you STILL want to point your fingers at me, technicaly your posts could be considered disruption of my SL buisness, so unless you want LL on your ass about it, i sugest you grow up and stay out.

Well I've certainly never heard of you, I'm not interested in furries or big boobed escorts... anything else you'd like to wrongly accuse me of?

Count me is a whiney post then and report me!!!... simply because of your responces are aggressive and you are not good at math. You are judgemental, and a demeaner. Hopefully the moderators will lock this pathetic thread.

If you can't take someone elses opinion, stay off the forums!

If your products did that well and were that well you surly wouldn't need to resort to survey sites, and the comment about reporting people to LL was just to funny because the only one breaking any real forum rules here is you with your trolling type comments. Whats even funnier is the fact that you call people immature little brats, and so on. I suggest you re-read this forum because the most rude, immature comments come from you. And as for people getting upset, really not sure when what you expected when you misused the forum to use people to attempt to make money for yourself. If the only way you can debate is to resort to childish name calling, I think you should go back to avoiding the forums. Thats what people do, debate, anything and everything here.

LMAO. Let me simplify your logic for those who can't be bothered skimming through your post:

a. I have been a subscriber to Second Life for longer than you, therefore ..
b. My posts can NEVER be considered spam.

Children? I'm 34 in real life. *shrugs* nice knowing you I guess, even if you aren't prepared to show/tell us what great products you sell to enhance SL.

I wonder why people delete their posts when others have quoted them in their entirety. Never quite understood that.

If someone posts spam, report it.
If a troll attacks you, report it.
But if you send a report don't send multiple reports, it just clogs my inbox.

Have a nice day :)
