There was a forum post a few days ago from about some frustrations with SLBoutique. Since the thread was closed, I wanted to say to everyone that we do take customer support seriously and actually Jade Lily actively reached out to hundreds of concerned customers during this recent system failure. Thankfully, that system failure has been resolved.
Bigger picture:
We are aware of some of the technical difficulties with SLBoutique (how could we not be!), and we are actively addressing these issues as well as improving our customer support systems. I will be the first to admit that ESC has neglected SLB for too long but that is changing in very concrete ways. An overhaul is coming.
We really do appreciate everyone's business and are working hard to improve things. In terms of time frame, we should have some significant improvements to announce in the next few months.
Thank you, Forseti

During the reworking of SLBoutique perhaps some attention could be given to making it possible to move your cursor around in a normal manner and pace without having great big pictures pop up over top of text you are trying to read or in the the path you were planning on moving your cursor in, pictures that are broken in two, one part displayed one place and another part displayed somewhere else.
The slow, rubbery movement in the menu on the left could use some re-thinking too.

Thanks Suezanne, yes we're getting rid of that I believe.
AWM - a fair shot, but we are doing some pretty major work -- it needs it and I fully acknowledge that. It's going to be several more weeks before we release this overhaul however.

In other words, unlike LL, you'd rather make sure that your changes are actual improvements and not 'fixes.' I can live with this, for now.

I can live with this, for now. thanks Raudf. I won't make any comparisons to LL, but your assessment is correct -- we looked at the situation and said to ourselves that we're spending energy treating symptoms and applying band-aids but that just leaves us and all our customers frustrated continuously. There are some root causes that we can address, and we're actively doing so now, and I can't wait to get them rolled out this summer.
