Hello: You are invited to participate in an academic study on Second Life. We are interested in the innovation-related practices of Second Life members so we can study the composition and structure of the Second Life community and the extent to which members receive resources and support from Linden Lab and other members. The questions focus on information sources such as the Official Linden Blog and the forums, and Second Life features and tools so we can study the ways in which Linden Lab invites and supports Second Life residents to create in-world content and to further develop the Second Life platform through (close) contact with Second Life members. Take me to the survey! (this project cannot succeed without your help, so we offer you a chance to win L$...) If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Rocketgrrrl Tripp aka Shenja van der Graaf at a.c.vandergraaf@lse.ac.uk. For further information you can check the website where the results will be posted in due course. *** Media@lse LSE Houghton Street London WC2A 2AE UK +44 777 835 2357 http://personal.lse.ac.uk/vanderga/***

And what do you do with this data? Are you looking to introduce resident-developed resources that will fill the gap in communication and customer care that now exists between the community and Linden Lab?

Have you ever heard about 'cross posting' and how that is not done? One message would have been quite enough.

moved and merged
05-28-2007 11:11
moved from Technical Issues to Resident-Run Websites, as this is the only forum that is fitting for this type of thread/post/information.
merged into one thread from ten separate threads. Rocketgrrrl, this is called "cross-posting" and is not allowed in these forums.
i'm going to assume you were not aware of these rules, but it should be known that this is accepted practice throughout the internet.
i hope your project goes (and intends) well and ask that in the future you heed the rules of multiple threads.
