Hello! I am working on a service which will allow people to access the Events calendar as if it were a typical publicly-accessible calendar - so that you can put it on your Google Calendar, or look at it with iCal, or, well, whatever is desired really.

If you would like to help test this, please do look at the following page for instructions:

http://ordinalmalaprop.com/tools/eventcal/help.html

No personally identifiable information is stored as to calendars accessed, or anything like that. Basically this just gives you much easier access to the Events calendar for different categories.

I would be grateful if people would test this and give feedback, if any. It is all for free of course!

Linden Lab already feeds the Second Life calendar to Eventful, which offers the same functionality and more.

Eventful does, but I have yet to get their iCal feed to work properly in any calendar application (everything defaults to 3 AM).

Some are failing on me when I try to add them to google calendar. It adds then I get "cannot find URL" and it is deleted. Live music and discussion loaded fine. Entertainment did not.

both on iCal and Google Calendar.

Thanks Ordinal Malaprop.

Next step is to be able to filter or tag events.

For me that would be prims, scripting, 101 etc without half a day of Hare Krisna which should be in history lessons. - no offense mr krisna.
