Apology

I would like to apologize to all, and mostly, anyone who believed me about the Police group I advocated.

I regret I did not take heed, to what was said in this post.

Grant it, there are some, who like me, had intentions of helping, no personal or clique alterior motives.

I found within the PD, (it is the one with the 911 emergency group) griefings at the headquarters.

Also, I was told, the group is supported by Linden's.

I was not allowed to wear short police officer skirt.
I was griefed for reminding 'ranked' officers the group im is for pd business and not chat, after seeing rank and priviledges misused. I even offered to make a group, for those who wish to chat in group format.
Useless rules made, for the egotistical ranked officers. These officers, did not earn their rank, they started the group, and gave themselves tag name.
I earned my group title, as well as some others in this pd.
I saw a mentor who was quite rude, and is no example or help for the community.
They make thier own rules, for thier own agenda's.

As soon as I said there were no Lindens in group, the three who had reference in thier profiles, removed this info.
One particular member, had only 'Steve Linden" written in his profile description. He removed it fast, which leads to the person I was speaking with and bringing this to attention, to tell him before I would have chance to report.

I witnessed some enjoying fighting with 'griefers???' Many times the griefer does not have paid account, but one in particular did, which I discovered him to feel he was in self defense mode.

I gave time, for this to be straightened out, but I could see, this is not a group with integrity...be it there are some who have integrity and truth, and really do wish to serve the community.

One group in particular, which is part of this root group, charges fifty dollars.
Never mind was I spent besides this, for weapons advised, though of course not ordered. Makes me wonder who owns the scripts of these weapons...

I also spent L's, to buy things to make for group use, such as a hud with a teleporter for 12 places. I spent a couple of weeks making this. I bought a special ordered hud to tell the codes, as there are so many, it is hard for anyone to know them, and causes new cadets and recruits distress.

The paperwork is rediculous. To top it, when Lt became Chief, I was asked to replace my application and exam, and anything pertaining to before the new Lt. took rank.

I was sent on bogus uc work. I entertain myself quite well, and I do not like waste of time, nor waste of anything.

I am sure I am leaving things out here, but to condense it, with so much to report, is not easy. There are also things, which I am not sure if I would get in trouble for telling.

I did learn, that during a griefing attack, if you sit on the ground, you are safe from attacks. For that matter, most things you can defend yourself, without calling i anyone.

I was hurt, I believed together, we can make a difference, with this group.
I have not given up on this hope, only it is not within this group. I have quit all these groups which come from root group, and there are new ones being created.

I recall your impassioned post from some time ago. I'm sorry you were led astray.

If you are interested in helping others in Second Life, perhaps the mentor program would be a good choice?
