So maybe this looks like a little self promotion, but it is something I feel is important. More and more often I'm seeing people doing things they really shouldn't do. So I felt that while the grid is down maybe I'd post something really useful to those who develop relationships in Second Life.

Important topic -

I find it funny that if you are NOT interested in any RL dating coming from Online you are expected to make that clear from the outset.

While people who do see Second Life as a 3d Eharmony dont feel the least bit compelled to tell you thats how they feel early on.

When I break up with people in online relationships its usually becuase their either lied to me, Or they are pressuring me towards a RL relationship

Even though I tell people I cant stand being lied to about some things, and Im not availble for a RL realtionship from the very begining.

Wow, that's weird. It never occurred to me that people would think that way. I mean, I've heard of SL relationships becoming RL ones, the same way people meet on message boards or what have you, but I always saw that as more of a nice-if-it-works-out kind of thing rather than what the place is there for.

I'm in no position to say much else, since I am actually in a RL relationship with someone in SL, but we actually met in RL before we met up inworld.

LOl I must get around more then you do ;)

I am sure voice chatting will lead to a lot more of the 3d Eharmony people in SL as well.
