Frist supports embryonic stem cell research.

Senator Frist is still a radical right-wing extremist, but the fact that he's willing to defy the White House on this issue shows a degree of courage and integrity hitherto undisplayed. He has earned a small measure of my respect (though I'm sure he'll have me gritting my teeth again in no time at all).
