i dont think i have started a thread in over a year. i am still thinking about my next thread. yeah i notice the pointless useless meaningless mindless threads. there are two sides to this you know. who decides what is pointless and meaningless? if somone had the ability to axe pointless useless threads (in their opinion) prolly be only 3 threads here to look at.

so i content myself with pointless meaningless useless comments in other peoples pointless meaningless threads. i wonder what is more annoying?

If you mean how-to questions, I don't find those annoying at all. I try to answer as many of them as I can. Hey, we were all newbs once.

That having been said, I don't think I'll ever understand why some people prefer to ask questions that are answered in the help, rather than just looking them up. I don't mind answering them, but I just wonder what the thought process is. To me it's farily obvious:

Think of question + read the help = 2 steps, instant answer, guaranteed correct.

Think of question + post it to the forum + wait for reply + read reply = 4 steps, delayed answer, maybe correct.
I guess maybe some people prefer conversation over efficiency.

As for other types of questions like "Why are they adding this bell when they haven't fixed that whistle yet?", yes, I find those to be annoying.

PS - yes, I find it annoying, but I avoid the threads generally. There is one person in particular who posts a combination of random questions, and questions with an obvious agenda, and both bug me - but they are free to do it, and we are free to ignore them.
