Heh... I'm not sure on this case either...
Is there a rule against offensive names? I seem to remember one but am not sure... just thinking that it might be good to be able to catch them after creation so the ones that fall through the cracks can be changed. (8
A side note: even though my friend goes by Fuku, the GM had him change his name in the computer system at our site.
I'm not sure what LL wants to do about cases like this where it could be innocent yet can have bad connotations...

I saw fuku Money last night, after the run ins with FREEZ Money, who is on both my mute and bannisher lists. My first reaction was "Hmmm, another damn EZ Money account", but fact is that fuku never raised any interruptions while I was around, so you never know. The disquieting thing is that supposedly EZ and PopPop only got 14 day suspensions, and EZ was very clearly planning out the mayhem he plans when he gets back in. If they do get back in, I hope it is on a probationary "3 Strikes and you're out" type basis. I - and I'm sure the other mentors as well - do not wanting the two of them around disrupting our events, it gives new residents the wrong idea of what we are about and running an event is often challenging enough without someone swearing, dancing on the stage and offering free cases of the 2nd Life Clap. To answer the first question, the moment we see an objectionable name, we suspend the account until the name is changed.
Occasionally, you may see someone who'd name managed to get through the name filter. This will likely be a permanent issue as people are far more clever than machines when it comes to finding variable ways of writing George Carlins 7 dirty words.
We do suspend accounts for violating our naming rules. Please send an email to [email]support@lindenlab.com[/email] and we will immediately remove it.
