I don't know if there has been a movie made in Second Life or not but I think it'd be a good idea. I know in There members have created many movies, entertainment as well as fan videos. In There they have created The Killer Hoverboat, you could take the idea and make The Killer Script.
Its just an idea and i'm not sure if it would work. The thing is since every thing is streamed while your filming something new could pop up. I'm still on dial up and going to upgrade to broadband so I won't attempt the idea yet, but I might later.

The only finished short film I know about is:
Bloody Mary: a second life short film (You need Flash to watch it) There is a preview of what sounds like a full length film coming out in December: Silver Bells and Golden Spurs I keep trying to get Eggy on board as executive producer for a full length feature (and get it played in a real theatre) but he keeps laughing at me. We need lip-synch! _____________________

we did a short movie in december last year, it took 1 day to build the props and scout for a location. 1 day to film, and 1 day for the editing.
Theres no dialog in the movie, (and unfortunately lacks ambient/music). The story is about a man, and his choice between his imaginary dream girl, and a interested RL girl. http://www.on24.dk/TheImperfectwork2.mov |
