yes. really! apparently there is a new version in pre-production!! a live-action/CG version!!! ..i was just looking at the web site for it and it looks really cool! and i believe something about Christopher Lee as King Haggard!?! oh, silly me.. you probably want to look too: The Last Unicorn (2005) ..don't forget to pick your jaw back up from the floor.  edit: don't forget to check out the actor pictures ..now, doesn't Jonathan Rhys-Meyers look like Morpheus/Dream from Sandman?!?!? _____________________

Well what do you know. I just added the DVD of the original to my Amazon wishlist and now this. That would be fun and appropriate if Lee is going to reprise his role as Haggard. Personally, I want to remake every movie ever made with him in every role (through the magic of blue screen).

Oh how exciting! This film has quite a few of the voice actors from the original coming together to act out their parts. The Last Unicorn, Labyrinth, and Return to Oz were my most favorite and most watched films as a kid, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this. Thank you for informing us.
