When is referral bonus paid?

One of the friends I interested in SL upgraded his account to Premium the other day. I got an email telling me that I would get the referral bonus, but I haven't seen the cash yet.

Today was payday. I thought that, perhaps, it would show up with the stipend. But I still didn't get any.

I'm not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, so a $2000L bonus would be VERY noticeable to me. Last night I think I had a whopping $500L to my name.

Has anyone had problems getting the bonus, or does it take time? I've gotten one other referral before and I think I remember seeing an in-game message telling me what the money was for.

Actually Cindy I had this happen to me as well. I had 2 friends join within a few weeks of each other and they both went to premium accts. I got one referral bonus right away and am still waiting on the other but it's been almost a month. I thought perhaps I was wrong and I didn't get a bonus and was confused on the other one if that makes sense. Maybe they are having some bugs with that system.

There does seem to be something amiss with referrals right now - ever since the change on the referral form that now has a check box that supposedly does not have to be checked to still receive recredit, I have received no referrals - and I had about 10 in the month prior to the change. I sent in an email about this issue, so hopefully there will be some resolution to it soon.

I got a referral bonus last week or the week before the instant my friend converted.
