I had a runaway swan yesterday that was heading into teal from my plot in rose....you know the animals always know when bad shit is gonna happen before humans do.....is this a sign?

Rose.. I think I got a plywood .5m cube returned to me from there the other day. quite strange I don't recall being in Rose in months, and defiantly not building/creating things there any time recently.

Perhaps the animals are just escaping an inanimate object party.

Try losing a pathfinder script sometime. I found it half the grid away (and yes, I did find it).

PS: There a niche market for another free pathfinder script? Considering releasing one that uses the new llRequestSimulatorData command.

As forum old timers know, I've had a heck of a time with a certian red devil goldfish.

I built him for my giant aquarium, but he kept breaking loose and swimming offworld!

I actually had to move him to a smaller, more secure tank to keep him out of trouble.

It's not an animal but my Ben-Go pogo stick that I lost at a sim crossing within 5 mins of getting it returned to me last night after at least 6 months of being gone.

I had an IM from a noob some time ago... to the effect of "please, get your brain to stop following me, he's freaking me out!" heh.
I had rezzed my old following 'brain' at a spontanious party in Solang almost a month before getting this IM. I obviously forgot to take him back into inventory before I logged!
Brain is a floosy and will follow anyone, but he had managed to wander over 3 sims away in the following weeks until he took a fancy to the poor noob who had just bought his first plot of land

More than one year ago someone I didn't know sent me a present..how nice! I rezzed it and it was a giant prim penis. I never saw such a large one before. It was a bit disturbing, but fascinating, so I left it rezzed on the floor of my cave, then located in Mauve. Then I left.

A couple of hours later Jeff Linden messaged me. "Umm Katy, you have a lost prim flying in Aqua. I will return it." I rezzed what he gave me, and there it was, the grand penis! In my absence it had found the waterfall door in my cave, flown through it and escaped!

Away it shot...ummm I mean went...off to Aqua....well not off but yes, it flew away to Aqua, where it found a lucky naieve shopper on her very first day in SL. It sure was a smart penis.

My flying penis followed her and bumped her, pushed her against a wall where she remained terrified and trapped, not knowing how to escape this predator. Then Jeff Linden was called to save her and my bad boy was sent home.

That event started a cycle in my life, the wandering penis cycle I call it, a cycle I sure wish would end. But I remember how smart that giant penis, you know, finding the door leading to the outside all by himself, AND going on a shopping trip to Aqua on his own where he found himself a date!

How rare, a smart penis. Wonder where I can find another one; I think he might be nice to have around.

Damn prim, Jeff should have deleted it.

I made a good solid effort to put a penny on the railroad track in the new continent, but the following day, I got several emails, subj "Your 'Penny' has been returned to you." or similar. I bet they were just rejected because they were CDN currency, not L.

I have a castle that has an elevator in it and about 2 months ago I went into my castle and wanted to go upstairs and the round elevator platform was gone. I thought this odd and I looked around for it and thought that maybe it had been returned to me when I wasn't paying attention or that it had just vanished. I was still a little new at this time. Luckily it was copyable and I had another in my inventory. I put a new one down and set it and a few days later...it was gone again. This happened about 6 times and I had alreay im'd the maker to see why it might be disappearing and never got a response back. I decided to stop using the elevator and just fly upstairs.

About a month after that I had found new land and was packing up. I was flying around and had looked up...way up...there in the sky was one of my platforms. I flew around the sim some more and found 4 more just floating in random areas in the sky...some by peoples sky houses. I couldn't help but laugh. Apparently they wanted to be free to elevate higher than my castle. So far I haven't had any issues with it since I have moved...so far so good.
