Umm did anyone else notice the Universe reboot last night? Okay, maybe it was just me but everything cut off last or rather early this morning and went black for about 5 seconds. Then there was a beep and everything came back on.
Did anyone else notice this, or was it just me? If so, was it there a Universe system update or maybe a Universe Security Patch?
Or am I putting myself in danger just writing this? Because I am the only one who noticed?

Sorry that was me...I accidentally unplugged the Universe for a bit when I got up and tripped over an end table. Hey I was sleepy and couldn't see ;P

Not me, I'm on a universal generator...any cut in reality service and that puppy kicks on immediately.

I wanted to add that I was not under the influence of anything stronger than coffee when this happened.
After giving it some further thought, what if it was me that was rebooted? Other than the fact that I thought I saw the tv and lights inside and outside go off first, but it was almost instantaneous and maybe it was my sight that went.
How would one tell the difference between the universe being rebooted and yourself being rebooted? Wouldn't it look almost the same?

That was just a glitch in my Infinite Improbability Generator. You can all rest easily knowing the bug has been found and died a horrible death.

Yep, happened this side of the atlantic too, in the wee hours of the morning, during a severe bout of electrical storms that went on all night I'm assuming that the clock battery on the Universal Motherboard had run out of juice and the storms were simply all the static discharge going on as <insert favoured deity here> fumbled to get the old one levered out and the new one into the slot and under the clip - it's such a fiddle doing that -.-

Well it is common knowledge that California is on the leading edge of technology and in the avant garde of fashion trends. So it goes without saying that the rest of the universe has to be rebooted on occasion to keep up with California.

From: April Firefly Or am I putting myself in danger just writing this? Because I am the only one who noticed? Ooh, uh-oh.... I don't think anyone was supposed to notice. Now that you've spoken up about it, They (you know who I mean) will be sending their evil minions to make sure you don't say anything more about it. Quick! Change your identity and move to the other side of the grid! Escape while you can!
