I just finished reading this weeks police blotter, because my friend mentioned there was an indirect reference to my alternate character, and i quote:

"for the gent in Boardman who refused to put his back on"

To clear this up, so I don't get a bad rep, I was trying to show someone a tatto I had on my av's thigh. I removed my pants in the case to show her, and she didn't seem upset at all, I then put my pants back on 30 seonds later or less. I DID NOT "REFUSE" TO PUT MY PANTS BACK ON!
I wans NEVER asked or complained to by this individual about my "pants" being off, she never said, "Put your pants back on or i'll report you" or even anything CLOSE to that., but due to her slow loading time, my pants did not load for her as it did me. Thus i was walking arround perhaps for another minute or so without pants. First off, how immature do you have to be to be offended by an av with no anatomy? Because of her rash thinking and what seemed like a hate on the world, I got banned for 3 days, all because I tried to show someone something I thought she would be interested in. But no. There's no justice in this game. I was banned the morning after without notification from the person whom i apparently offended with my "naked" av. I feel like the Lindens are just out to keep the connection count down by banning ayone mentioned in complaints without getting both sides of the story. Again, this is an unjust society, and For those who know me, I've mentioned this to you before, you know my other character, I'm not going to say who for those who don't. I just want the lindens to realise that, what if this had been a false complaint? There's no way you would have known, and you could have convicted an innocent person. Perpahaps something to look into would be an e-mail requesting their side of the story within a time limit. Perhaps ask for witnesses. Because, I know, and the people I talk to on a daily basis in that game know that im not the type of person to be running around naked and intentionally offending people. I think, as a paying customer, we should have a chance, even a small one to defend our reputation.

That's it, thanks to those who actually take the time to read this.

In the case of a false accusation, it would definitely be wrong to ban a paying customer unjustly. I agree that there are cases that should be investigated before punitive action is taken.

It should be noted that incidents in the Police Blotter are for purposes of example only -- the names and places, as it were, have been changed to protect the innocent. And the guilty, I suppose. The crimes are real, the details are fictionalized.

Every abuse report we recieve is investigated using every means at our disposal. We'll never suspend a resident for accidental nudity on a PG sim, but please remember that purposefully nudity is never acceptable in a PG area.
