I think the seperation between them is to great, I think some should be released to public, or certain peopleto build on, I think some trees should also be plopped on this land because its sooo well . .. there should be trees

The themed communities haven't been around all that long -- if you've done any building yet, you know that big projects don't happen overnight. Especially if they're run more or less by committee. :)

If you'd like to see the space fill up faster, there's always the option of joining one of these themed communities and helping them develop.

Those things would be nice, trees and letting others build and contribute, but those groups are dealing with a set amount of prims/objects that they can build to. Among other reasons i think, to reduce lag or it was a democratic method to dole-out the total sum objects available in the zone between the sims, etc...
Some or many of the sim builders want keep the number of contributers down to an absolute minimum in order to keep creative possibility at the highest for each individual. So you might not see too many invitations forthcomming.

First: Jean has been around a while. :)

Second: She is refering to the huge amounts of barren wasteland between the theme communities.

There will be a border kept around them (and I hope it is filled with trees), but some land was slated to be open to the public eventually. My guess is about the time some of the projects start finishing. Until then thoughy, threes would be nice. :)

To add to what Ama said, Jean IS a member of one of the communities.

And yes, trees and other shrubbery would be nice.

Yes thats the area I ment, it just seems like such a LARGE area, and should, could be used.

and Im apart of two of the communities gail. Nice to meet you lol. I have done big building in the past. IT can really happen just as fast as you want to work. Its all a work in progress though I think, I mean Im always changing stuff, its like playdough or something you dont let it dry andbe done, you remold Lol

Anyways, trees and bushes and even plants, or a trail would be nice like in the WWII area

Mea culpa -- I wasn't aware of any of those things. The post was fairly vague, and I obviously misinterpreted.

The Linden Gods should consider or reconsider some sort of compensation for the members of the themed communities. Being one myself, I find myself putting a great deal of time and SL$ into it, without being clear on the end result.

We are all paying taxes on the land and objects. Some are beginning to loose money as the projects grow. That is no reward, or is it an incentive.

Also, are we forever bound to our communities? If someone becomes broke, forced to move (as I was when WW guys showed up), or has some need to move on, group members are not free to do this, that is without effecting the rest of the group.

Why are there lucrative contracts for the Wild West Town, but nothing for the themed communities?

Fenik, I agree, it is much toooooooooo far from everything else to visit. I mean, over in hawthrone its a 29 dollar flight to venice. Its just so far. Maybe another sim should open up near the themeed communties and be public? I think lanscaping that land between places would be nice. That river with the rock bedding, and all those trees in WWII look very nice. Ive gone to alot of the themed communities and have watched the map, people just dont really check them out, I think one reason being they are far from everything.

I hate to toot my own horn, but, ahem, I will. ;) There are some rapid-transit systems coming into availability in the near future that might mitigate this problem. The one that I am building is called SLART. You can see a prototype station in Minna. It will take you anywhere in the world. I hope to put these stations all over the world, as soon as the bug shakedown phase of the project is complete.

Forgive me if i sounded condescending to Jean. Just saying why i think there won't be much scenery around those sims...though i have to agree that they do look abit barren in between.

I haven't run about there recently inspecting the land, but is all of that area divided up between those four sims? Yamato, Venice, Darkwood and Cybertown - are there more? Will there be more land to divvy out for future sims?
