We're officially over 40,000, but I'd like to define officially.
Here's a little nugget for y'all, hopefully this won't set off any major DRAHMA: CODE select count(*) as c from avatar_key; So, as you can see... I have over 51,164 unique pairs of avatar name / avatar key combos in my database. That means there have been at least 51,164 Second Life accounts created, and probably a bunch more. However, since then, a bunch have been cancelled / banned / expired / etc... Thus, why the number comes down. For the record: IF YOU SPAM, YOU SUCK. (No offense to anyone who doesn't understand why I'm saying that here.) Regards, -Flip _____________________

SPAM is a slang term for what the pros call "UCE", or Unsolicited Commercial Email. By having a business relationship with Linden Lab, any communications from them are automatically not spam, by definition. If you want to turn off communications from LL, you can; first off, you can opt out of receiving the newsletter on the web site. In fact, I think citizens do not receive the newsletter by default. Secondly, you can log in, go to PREFERENCES, and choose to not have your instant messages forwarded to your email. I hope this help! Regards, -Flip _____________________

hehehehehe, thanks for the laugh. I have opted anyone out who's asked, and they can no longer receive gifts through SLBoutique.
![]() I'm still waiting for someone to provide me with my home address, phone number, and so forth given my IP address or SL key. Pretty hilarious. -Flip _____________________
