OMG
It's all so PURDY! All the hardware works perfectly
(having a couple of software problems but I think I've
figured out how to fix them). Did you know the
motherboard has a built in NIC?!? Tripped me out when
I powered up for the first time and saw *2* local area
connection connectoids in my tray. And the video card
does video out! If (The Husband) leaves me the dvd drive when he goes I'll be able to route (The Boy's) movies to the tv from my computer! (The "real" dvd player died a few
months ago.)
I was gonna try to pop in world last night, but never
got my "turn" with the modem -- told H that he wasn't
gonna be allowed to touch it today... heh.
If I'm correct about what I need to do to solve my
software issue I should be able to pop in tonight for
a bit.
