I logged in about 20 minutes ago to find that I was showing no L$s in the upper right corner of my screen. After checking my Account Balance, I find that I still have the same amount I had before. However, it's a bit unnerving to see this onscreen.
Anybody else having this problem tonight?

I did. It all came back spontaniously later. What a poounding the database must be under to be slow about even our L$ holdings.

Saw Andrew Linden in the sandbox tonight and he mentioned to someone in passing that they were having some fairly heavy database traffic which might result in this kind of thing. Just passing it on...

After the initial shock passed I rebooted and logged in again & thankfully the balance was correct. With my ability to mess up nearly anything computer related...I'm glad to know it wasn't me.  -Sun |

This happened to me last week and I never saw the balance, even after relogging until the next day. I thought it was a client bug because I'm sure that it taps the same database field as the transaction histories, including the web page, which were both correct.

There are ducks in the DB? No wonder things are so slow... Hm... You're on to something there Jillian... I think LL has bought the SWG main DB's hamster on e-bay, that would explain why things have been so slow lately. Imo they should do as SOE did, and get a Tazmanian devil instead, that would get thing really going  _____________________
