I'm in the UK, I don't think we get the concierge programme, unless we wanna dial a US number, which yes, I know isn't all THAT expensive, but when you have UK paying customers, you should have a UK based Customer Service Line too.

I have used it numerous of times and Lee Linden has always been helpful and quick in responding to any matters I have had with my sims.

Lee's bailed me out twice. Sounds like you should IM Lee directly, Sensual, your poll is clearly biased against the guy!

I think the concierge service will fail where all customer service fails... no matter how good your customer service team is, everyone has bad days. Your experience always comes down to the individual. The company just has to try to keep as high a satisfaction rate as possible. Companies like Hewlett-Packard, who have an automated computer you have to get through, to talk to India, and after 40 minutes of holding you finally get someone who can answer a question instead of just asking them? That's not caring. I think the Linden's level of commitment is far superior to that.

I'm sure Lee gets overwhelmed, as I would, when logins aren't working. Everyone with a large tier is immediately dialing, and he probably takes more heat... because people with higher tiers are probably a bit more angered. Extended hours would be nice, but might simply not be cost effective right now given the percentage of population... which is a shame, I play from England once a year as well. :-)

That said, the last time I called, Indigo had been griefed. Lee took care of doing a rollback for me, with Andrew's assist, and saved us a ton of hours of work... so I ordered them a pizza! hehe :-)

Not biased... did you read all the options? There is only ONE person in charge of Concierge at the moment and that is Lee Linden... there are just as many positive options as there are negative ones

We haven't really had to use the concierge that much. I am in US but I don't bother calling, I IM or e-mail.

He got them to roll back Taber for me after I accidentally deleted 1/2 the sim. :eek:

Definitely biased Sensual... count the options.

3 choices saying "Lee Linden (or the Linden in charge) sucks." (1) It would be much better without Lee Linden (2) Lee Linden doesn't listen. (2) The Lindens do not try to listen to the problem and help (he's the only one who's ever been the concierge!) and (3) Lee Linden does not try to listen to the problem and help.

Those 3 choices are the same basic response (Lee Linden is the problem), versus this one being the positive about Lee (Lee Linden is doing a great job).

You also have duplicates concerning positives, "I think the service is great and very helpful ", and "Im totally happy with it all". Problems like these make these polls a completely slanted total effort in futility. The thread you wanted to post (thread, not poll) was, "Has anyone had problems with Lee Linden and the concierge service."

You also have 5 negative options total, 3 positive, and 2 neutral. Polls typically give best results with an equal number for each option, with that equal number being 1.

Nothing against you, Sensual, I just honestly think this is a bit unfair against Lee.

O good Lord... I personally can not stand the guy and have got help from him maybe 25% of the time, depending the situation and his mood... There is an other option and hes doing a great job option... that is the point of this poll.. Id like to know if I am the only one that feels the way I do... but sure, go ahead and pass judgement on me or whatever you see fit... but lets stick to the point of thread... Good service or Bad?

A phone call at 2 cents a minute (with SkypeOut) can be considered pretty cheap.

hehehehe, like I said Sensual, nothing against you. We've always gotten along fine. Its not like you or are again CNN/Gallup with professional poll writers designed specifically to get accurate (or, in the case of Fox News, convenient) poll results.

The times I've called Lee, he's been great, and that's the only experience I can go on. Let me ask ya, when have you been calling? I can imagine, for example, that since Saturday when this whole mess started, he's had to fall on the virtual Linden customer service sword more than a few times! :-) When I've called him, I've problem been one of a few issues he's dealing with.

We don't allow threads in the forums that specifically target personal attacks on any individual.

While we always want constructive criticism for ANYTHING LL does, I don't really see this poll as being constructive or fair. Plus it is definitely targeting Lee as an individual.

I'm closing this thread. Please feel free to start polls or threads that help us constructively improve our services. We're not perfect, and we want to improve and learn from our mistakes!

But please avoid targeting an individual with negative accusations that devolve into personal attacks. Thanks.
