does it seem, with all that is going on lately, that the fun is being sucked out of SL?

Only if you're overanalyzing it and worrying too much about money and land dispute drama and losing sleep over the fate of your latest building project. Anything would be no fun if you're worrying about it that much.

I've been having a blast so far. I just got a little perturbed in the new trial process because I was just about to try and get a lot of people over here. I now feel like I have to wait on that to see if something changes but, personally, I'm having a great time.

Oh Loki,

You hit the nail on the head. That is what I think I meant.
I guess I tie the forums in with my inworld experience.

I did build my retirement cottage in Rose. Maybe I need to spend time by the brook and watch the fireflies.

Or..yea.. go to Tracey's forest and sit under a tree.

Actually the game just got more fun with me now that we have videos... plus I'm learning to do new things which is making it more fun....

I suggest looking for somting you don't know how to do yet, or refused to do in the past, and see if doing it now helps you feel like you're having more fun *shrug*.

Im kinda like Dave....I started out trying to figure things out and then I started building then I got all these wild dreams about what I wanted to do then I started spending time with one group and the next thing I know I got friends and people all over and Wala now I am making clothes and having a blast and I am teaching my soon to be in game Queen Sia Sunchaser Paintshop Pro so she can get involved in Ideas she has of her own. All in all...I am having a blast both in game and out. Life is good Embrace both of them and dont sweat the small stuff...find somehthing you dont know how to do and try it...and best case...figure out what Hasnt been done in the game yet that is always a chalenging thing.

yup. I hardly make clothes anymore because of strife caused due to game issues.... so, lately Ive started making more avs for people and I'm still working on picking up scripting. Someone said that this game can be topped out in a month. Ive been here since January and still havent done everything.

So yea these trials come & go. People like to raise a fuss over *something* and the Lindens promised an ever changing world. Guess what? We're getting what we were promised.

Sit down and hold on. It's gonna be a ride.
