I'm usually the last to "toot my own horn," but I'm so overwhelmed with a feeling, maybe pride, maybe just happiness, I had to share...

We have the latest stats from the Messenger's webite:

The Sept. 13 issue has had 12,715 requests.
Iin the last week, the main page had a total of 184,172 successful requests overall.
The site has had visitors from the United States, France, Canada, Italy, Great Britain, European Union, Portugal, Israel, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark this week.
Nine people added us to their favorites list this week.
The site had a total of 6,427 newspaper copies downloaded.
How are people coming to the site?
354 ppl came in by clicking a link in the forums
51 from Google
20 from the Plywood website
7 from Torley's blog
6 from Google Canada
4 from dragonscoveherald.com (the SL Herald).

Thanks, everyone. :)

Congratulations on your success. I understand how you feel - I am addicted to looking at the stats for SLuniverse/Snapzilla and seeing where people are coming from. August and September topped 100,000 visitors each and over 3 million page requests. Granted, 95% of them are Willow Zander, but it is still exciting :) The fact that people in places like Sri Lanka, Turkey, Nigeria and elsewhere visit the site is a great feeling, and very humbling. I hope for continued growth for your wonderful site, you deserve it.

PS - don't underestimate the endorsement of Ulrika. When she was terrorizing people on Snapzilla, my traffic soared just to see what horrible thing she would say next. My favorite was (paraphased) "Every time someone sends in another vanity picture, my soul dies a little". If you can get Prokofy to start a scandal about your site, that is good for traffic too :)

The Messenger is top quality work.

I'm pleased as punch to advertise in there weekly.

And advertising works!! My sales have been up on average around 30% per day since I started taking out ads.

Keep up the good work!!

I just looked at my first issue of MM the other day, and I was very impressed. I'll definitely be going back again.

Very well done, Katt. You deserve the horn-tooting.

Sigh . . . another item for my must-read list.
