There has been a new Memorial built in rememberance to those who have suffered great losses to Hurricane Katrina.
Hurricane Katrina Victim Memorial, Pero (122, 182)
There is a wall where you may have pics of your own placed also
(Heratiki Turnbull and Angel Byrd will accept any pics to be placed on your behalf)

Thank you very much for posting this Keywe... But I would also like to add that we are asking not for pictures of the destructions, we are asking of pictures of the area before the storm.. We have chosen to keep our memorial just that.. A tribute to what was and will be again.. It is meant as a quiet place for people to come and reflect, leave a donation if you so choose, or a candle, flower, teddy bear.. Anything you would choose.. We will get through this!
